Furious with Adnams. I object to being told that I cannot pay with cash.

Payment as far as I’m concerned should be a customer choice as there is no legitimate reason for operating a cash only policy. That £40 was the last penny I will spend with Adnams.

The product is ok but at the Adnams tap room in Southwold the company refused to fill a non Adnams branded 2 litre growler. The staff did apologise profusely and say they really did not agree with the management policy to refill only Adnams branded 2 litre growlers. We came away disappointed and didn’t feel it was a positive or friendly policy and it was not clear why other than for the company to make money. We also felt it was not a particularly eco friendly policy. No valid reason was given why Adnams do this.

I have been drinking in the Nelson in Southwold for 35 years. Since the beginning of the pandemic the staff have been a disaster. Even now, with things returned to normal, the people behind the bar are an absolute shocker. Such a shame to witness the terminal decline of a once great pub. Adnams has clearly given up caring about customer service. I guess they don’t need to worry given the empire they have built….but empires do fall!

We love Adnams Copper House gin, but today tried an Adnams ready-made tin of this gin and tonic for convenience as we are on holiday: never again! Flat, tasteless tonic and not enough gin to taste. Yuk!

I have been a customer of Adnams for the last 25 years and buy a significant amount of wine each year from them.
Over the last year or two I have noticed a distinct change in their customer relations ...... for the worse.
I have never left a review for any company before however the way in which I was treated today has made me so cross that I felt compelled to write.
I was served by the most rude and surly man who clearly should not be in customer service and gave the impression that for some unknown reason I was an aggravation and when producing a card confirming a discount supplied to me by the Manager of the branch not two months ago stated that it was out of date and not valid.
This is not the first time I have experienced third rate service and I have had enough and will not be buying any further wines from Adnams. It is such a shame since prior to the last couple of years their customer service has been excellent and it was always a joy to visit their store.
Please someone in Management get a grip on your staff - we are (or were) your customers and you rely on us for your business - you are steadily losing your old and reliable client base and you only have yourselves to blame.

Not the best or most helpful experience when contacting Adnams Customer Services! I was sent a 15% discount code direct from Adnams which I intended to use on my order. However I inadvertently placed the order without adding the discount code so immediately contacted Customer Services to ask them to retrospectively apply a 15% refund. The response I got was placing the order without inserting the discount code was my fault and they wouldn't apply the discount retrospectively but I could take it off my next order, Unfortunately, given the response I doubt they'll be a next order and I'll go elsewhere in future. Not impressed!

I'm an absolute mega fan of Adnams, Beer and Ale. My favourite is Ghostship. Their drinks are amazing and I fully recommend any beer or ale lover to give them a try. Truly an icon of Suffolk.

Great customer service. I ordered a case of beer to be delivered in time for my Dad's birthday. When I ordered the case I was advised that the latest delivery would be Wednesday, by Thursday there was still no delivery. I contacted customer services who were fantastic. The issue appeared to be with the courier service. The colleague at Adnams cancelled my original order, put through another on an express delivery and the case arrive in time for my Dad's birthday on the Saturday.

I cannot fault Adnams for their customer services, they're a great company with some great products that you just can't get easily elsewhere.

Unfortunately the thorn in their side is that they use Yodel as their courier. They have managed to damage two out of my last three orders.

Adnams customer services have been consistently brilliant when sorting these issues out. Jemma is a credit to the company.

Great service and customer care, sometimes let down by their couriers, but who isn't these days. When their courier does let them down, they solve the problem the same day.

Why why why use Yodel who make you look so bad

I can’t fault Adnams communication and service but their chosen courier of Yodel is shocking. Every delivery out of 7 has had an issue requiring me to chase back with Adnams. Again no probs to communicate back with them, but 5* as a “Whole” is being let down by delivery.

Fantastic wines, reasonably priced, great beers, and all delivered quickly in sturdy packaging

Adnams have a great and unique range of beers, wines and spirits, some of which are among my favourites. My latest delivery was ordered yesterday and arrived this evening; they're not always as super-quick as that, but orders usually come in just a few days

After just drinking craft ale's and beers for the last few months' ghost ship was on my to-try list.

The taste is like a cheap shandy with fresh squeezed lemon/lime added' hence a very bitter ale that leaves a rather tinned taste in your mouth even tho i have it in a bottle.

Not a pleasant drink for me' i poured it down the sink after having a few mouthfuls.

Very disappointed but as with most things' you won't no till you try and ghost ship is one i won't be revisiting even from a keg.

Great products, great value and superb service. Cannot fault this local company. Well done!
